Online filing is the intended route, but a student without internet access can get the application filed through an assisted channel:

1. Visit the district Social Justice and Empowerment office and ask the GSKVN desk to help you file on e-Samaj Kalyan.
2. Use a Common Service Centre or Jan Seva Kendra, where an operator can register and upload on your behalf.

The corporation posts closing dates for its schemes on the portal homepage, for example, a mid-August closing date has been shown for its direct lending schemes, so check the portal in the weeks after your result rather than assuming last year's date applies.

How to check your application and award status

1. Log in to esamajkalyan.gujarat.gov.in with your registered mobile number.
2. Open My Applications and select the application number from your acknowledgement.
3. The status shows the stage; submitted, under scrutiny, document query, selected, not selected, or payment released.
4. If a document query is raised, respond before the date shown. An unanswered query closes the application.
5. Once the merit list is approved, the award is paid by DBT to the student's bank account.

Common reasons an application fails

• Occupation certificate missing or from the wrong authority. This is the single biggest cause of rejection. Match the certifying officer to your parent's actual employer.
• Mark sheet from an earlier year. Only the current year's board result counts.
• Bank account in a parent's name or a joint account. The award is credited to the student.
• Account not Aadhaar-seeded, so the DBT credit fails after selection.
• Name mismatch between the mark sheet, Aadhaar and the bank passbook.
• Photograph or identity card not uploaded.
• Application filed after the closing date.
• Marks below the top three among valid applicants, a valid application that simply does not place.
