How to check your DDU-GKY status

To check your DDU-GKY status, log in to the Kaushal Panjee skill-register portal (kaushalpanjee.nic.in) with your registered mobile number and open your candidate record. It shows your registration details and the training partner your profile has been shared with. If no partner has contacted you, follow up at the Block Development Office with your registration number. Unlike a cash-transfer scheme, DDU-GKY has no single "payment status" screen for candidates, because the money flows to the training partner on placement and retention outcomes, not to the trainee as a benefit. What you can track is your registration, your mapping to a training partner, your batch, and, after training; your placement.

Step 1: Check your Kaushal Panjee registration

1. Open kaushalpanjee.nic.in in a browser, or the Kaushal Panjee mobile app.
2. Choose candidate login and enter the mobile number you registered with.
3. Verify the OTP sent to that number.
4. Open your candidate record to see your registration number, the trade/sector you chose, and your address mapping (state, district, block, Gram Panchayat).
5. Note which empanelled training partner your block maps to. This is who is expected to call you for counselling.

Save your registration number. Every downstream office: block coordinator, training partner — will ask for it.

Step 2: Confirm you have been shared with a training partner

Kaushal Panjee connects registered rural youth to empanelled Project Implementing Agencies (PIAs) operating in your block. If your record shows a training partner mapped to you but no one has called:

1. Visit the Block Development Office (BDO) with your registration number.
2. Ask the block-level skilling coordinator which PIAs are running batches in your block in the current financial year.
3. Ask to be added to the next batch's mobilisation list for your chosen trade.

If no PIA is running your trade in your block this year, that is a capacity gap, not a rejection: ask about batches in a neighbouring block or a different, available trade.

Step 3: Track your batch and attendance

Once a training partner enrolls you, your status moves to an active batch. During training:

• Biometric attendance is mandatory. Attendance shortfalls can disqualify you from the final assessment, so watch your record with the centre.
• Ask the centre coordinator for your batch code and expected assessment date.
• Confirm your bank account passbook and Aadhaar are on file, because post-placement support is transferred directly to your account.

Step 4: Check placement and post-placement status

DDU-GKY is placement-linked: the training partner is contractually required to place a minimum share of trained candidates in jobs paying at least the statutory minimum wage, and to track them after they join.

1. After you clear the certification assessment, the training partner records your placement and shares the offer.
2. Placement and retention are tracked in the DDU-GKY MIS by the partner and the State Rural Livelihoods Mission (SRLM): ask your partner or the SRLM DDU-GKY cell for your placement/retention record.
3. Post-placement support amounts and duration are set by the Ministry's operational guidelines and revised from time to time. Confirm the current rate with your training partner or SRLM: never accept a figure quoted only by an agent.

What each status means

• Registered, not yet mapped: your Kaushal Panjee entry is saved but no partner is assigned yet. Follow up at the BDO.
• Mapped to a PIA: a training partner should contact you; if silent, chase the block coordinator.
• In batch: you are enrolled and training; maintain biometric attendance.
• Assessed and certified: you have passed; placement support begins.
• Placed / under tracking: you are in a job and being followed up for retention.

Where to escalate

If your status is stuck, escalate to the DDU-GKY cell of your State Rural Livelihoods Mission or your Block Development Office, quoting your Kaushal Panjee registration number. There is no candidate fee at any stage; if anyone demands money for admission, placement or certification, report it to your Block Development Officer or the SRLM.
