What is the Fodder Minikit scheme in Gujarat?

How to apply for the fodder minikit

2. Choose Animal Husbandry schemes (Pashupalan ni yojanao) from the list of department groups, then select the fodder minikit component under the Integrated Fodder Development Scheme.
3. Indicate whether you are a registered iKhedut applicant. If you have never applied before, choose the new-applicant option and fill your details; if you have, log in with your existing application number.
4. Fill the form: name, village, taluka, district, survey number, land area, bank details and number of animals, and submit it.
5. Confirm the application. This is a separate step on iKhedut, and an unconfirmed application is never sent to the office. Note the application number shown after confirmation.
6. Print the confirmed application, sign it, attach self-attested copies of Aadhaar and the land record, and submit the set to your taluka or district animal husbandry office within the time stated on the portal.

Common reasons applications fail

• Application submitted but never confirmed on iKhedut — the single most common error, and it makes the application invisible to the office.
• Signed printout not delivered to the taluka office within the stated days.
• Name mismatch between Aadhaar, the 7/12 extract and the bank record.
• Applying under the wrong component, a Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe applicant filing under the general component.
• Quota exhausted for the district in that season, in which case reapply in the next window rather than treating it as a permanent rejection.

Key dates and timing

Fodder minikit distribution is season-bound, not open all year. The Directorate times the windows so that seed reaches the farmer before sowing, before the kharif rains, before the rabi sowing, and before the summer fodder crop where irrigation is available.
