How to check your Soil Health Card status

To check your Soil Health Card status, open soilhealth.dac.gov.in or the Soil Health Card mobile app, go to the print/view option, and search by your registered mobile number, Aadhaar number, or by state, district, block and village to find and download the card PDF. There is no cash payment under this scheme, so "status" means whether your sample has been tested and the card generated. What "status" means for a Soil Health Card

The Soil Health Card Scheme pays no money to the farmer. The benefit is a free soil test report. So there is no payment status. What you actually track is the progress of your soil sample through three stages:

1. Registered; your farmer and land details are on the portal and a test is requested.
2. Sample collected; agriculture department or lab staff have drawn a GPS-tagged sample from your field.
3. Card generated — the laboratory has tested the 12 parameters and the card is ready to view and download.

How to check status and download the card online

1. Open soilhealth.dac.gov.in or install the Soil Health Card app from the Google Play Store.
2. Go to the Farmers Corner and choose the option to view or print the Soil Health Card.
3. Search by your registered mobile number or Aadhaar number, or by state, district, block and village and your name or farmer ID.
4. Open the card to see the 12 parameter values (pH, EC, organic carbon, N, P, K, sulphur and the micronutrients) and the crop-wise fertiliser recommendation.
5. Download the PDF. When a new card is generated, the portal also sends an SMS alert to your registered mobile number.

How to check status offline

1. Visit your district or block agriculture office, the nearest Krishi Vigyan Kendra, or a Common Service Centre.
2. Give your registered mobile number or Aadhaar number and land record, and ask the status of your sample.
3. Collect the printed card from the office once it is ready, or have staff download it for you.

Why a card may not appear

Per the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, if no card appears, either the sample for your plot has not been collected: because the village was not covered in the current sampling round, or the laboratory result has not yet been uploaded. Sampling is planned district by district, so timing depends on your block's round. The district agriculture office can tell you which round covers your village.

Re-testing and repeat cards

Soil status changes with cropping and fertiliser use, so the scheme is built around a repeating sampling cycle rather than a one-time card. To know when your field is due for re-testing, ask your district agriculture office for the cycle currently followed in your block. A fresh card is generated each cycle and appears under the same search on the portal.
