What is the Tanariri Music Awards Festival and Awards (National Level)?

Tanariri Music Awards Festival and Awards is the Government of Gujarat's annual classical music festival held at Vadnagar in Mehsana district, at which national-level awards are conferred on musicians. How to be considered for the Tana-Riri award

1. Build and document a public body of work. State cultural honours in Gujarat are conferred on the strength of recognised performance and contribution, so a documented record of concerts, recordings, students taught and published work is the substantive requirement.
2. Engage with the Gujarat State Sangeet Natak Akademi. The Akademi is the department's institution for music, dance and theatre, and its festivals; Baiju and Pandit Omkarnath classical music samarohs; are the state platforms at which musicians become known to the department.
