How to check your application status

LPAI does not run a dedicated online tracker or applicant login where you can look up a status by reference number, so status checks depend on the route you applied through and on direct communication from LPAI or your institution.

Common reasons for rejection

• Applying through the wrong channel for that batch. LPAI has used a Google Form for some batches and the AICTE portal for others. • Missing the batch deadline. Each batch has a fixed closing date (for example, 27 June 2026 for the July-August 2026 batch), and applications submitted after that date are not carried forward to the next batch automatically. Reapply fresh when the next batch opens.
• Incomplete or missing proof of enrolment. Since the internship is open only to students currently enrolled at a recognised college or university, an application without a valid bonafide certificate or student ID is normally screened out.
