What is the SITARE-Appreciation Grant?

The SITARE-Appreciation Grant is a small, targeted award run by the Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC), a public sector enterprise of the Department of Biotechnology under the Ministry of Science and Technology. 2. Apply to the BIIS with your student details and a concept note describing your biotech innovation idea, following the format in the call.
3. If shortlisted, attend the BIIS residential workshop, where you receive training and mentorship and develop your idea.
4. Top performers from the batch are then selected by BIRAC to receive the Rs 1 lakh appreciation grant.
