What is the Disability Pension scheme?

Disability Pension is a welfare scheme of the Uttarakhand Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (UKBOCWWB), which functions under the Labour Department, Government of Uttarakhand. How much does the Disability Pension provide?

4. Provide an Aadhaar-seeded bank account so the pension can be transferred directly to you.
5. Track the claim through the board portal or by following up with the labour office that handles your registration, and once approved, the monthly pension begins.

How to register as a construction worker with UKBOCWWB

Eligibility for the disability pension depends on registration. According to the board, a worker can register if he or she:

• Is between 18 and 60 years of age at the time of registration.
• Is a resident of Uttarakhand.
• Has done at least 90 days of construction work in the preceding twelve months.
