What is Mukhyamantri Anuprati Coaching Yojana?

Mukhyamantri Anuprati Coaching Yojana is a Rajasthan state scheme run by the Social Justice and Empowerment Department that pays for competitive-examination coaching for meritorious students from families that cannot afford it. The scheme is commonly written as "Anuprati Coaching Yojana" and is sometimes searched as CM Anuprati Free Coaching Scheme.

The scheme works on a simple principle: the student is selected on merit, the state pays the coaching institute directly, and the student pays nothing. The department empanels coaching institutes across Jaipur, Jodhpur, Kota, Ajmer, Udaipur, Bikaner and other centres, publishes the list, and lets the selected student choose from it.

According to the Social Justice and Empowerment Department, the number of students covered each year was raised from 15,000 to 30,000. Alongside the free coaching, students who must relocate to another city receive up to Rs 40,000 a year towards food and accommodation, paid by Direct Benefit Transfer into their own bank account.

Main features

  • 100% of the coaching fee is paid by the state to the empanelled institute.
  • Up to Rs 40,000 a year for food and lodging for students studying away from home.
  • 30,000 seats a year, distributed across exam categories and social categories.
  • Selection is purely on merit from the marks of the last qualifying examination.
  • Application is entirely online through the SSO portal; there is no paper form.

Who is eligible for Anuprati Coaching Yojana?

You can take the benefit if:

  • You are a permanent resident of Rajasthan and can produce a domicile or bonafide certificate.
  • You belong to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Other Backward Class, Most Backward Class, a notified minority community, or hold an EWS certificate. Minority communities covered are Muslim, Sikh, Christian, Jain, Buddhist and Parsi.
  • Your family's annual income from all sources does not exceed Rs 8 lakh.
  • You have passed the qualifying examination for the exam stream you are applying under, and your marks are high enough to make the merit list.
  • Your family has a valid Jan Aadhaar record, since the form pulls family details from it.

You are not eligible if:

  • You are from the general category and do not hold an EWS certificate.
  • Your family income exceeds Rs 8 lakh a year.
  • You are not a permanent resident of Rajasthan, even if you are studying in the state.
  • You have already taken the benefit of this scheme for the same examination stream. The scheme is meant to give each student one supported attempt at coaching, not repeated cycles.
  • You want to attend a coaching institute that is not on the department's empanelled list. The state cannot pay a non-empanelled institute.

Students who are simultaneously drawing another state scholarship covering the same coaching cost cannot claim both for the same expense.

What benefit does the scheme give?

Mukhyamantri Anuprati Coaching Yojana gives two distinct things, and confusing them is the most common mistake applicants make.

The coaching fee. The state pays this to the institute. The amount depends on the exam stream and the fee the department has negotiated with the empanelled institute. The student never handles this money and should never be asked to pay it and claim reimbursement.

Food and accommodation assistance. Up to Rs 40,000 per year is paid to the student by DBT, for those who have to live in another city to attend coaching. This is the amount that arrives in the applicant's own bank account, which is why an Aadhaar-seeded account is compulsory.

The exam streams covered include UPSC Civil Services, Rajasthan Administrative Service and other RPSC examinations, subordinate services and police constable recruitment, REET, and professional entrance tests such as NEET, JEE and CLAT. Each stream has its own seat allocation, and the merit cut-off therefore varies a great deal between streams in the same year.

What documents are required?

How to apply for Anuprati Coaching Yojana

  1. Create or open your SSO ID at sso.rajasthan.gov.in. A citizen SSO ID can be created using a Jan Aadhaar number, a Bhamashah number or a Google account, and it is free.
  2. Log in and search the app list for SJMS (Social Justice Management System). Open it and select the Anuprati Coaching Yojana application.
  3. Enter your Jan Aadhaar number and pick your name from the family members that appear. Family, caste and income details are pulled automatically. Check them line by line, because an error here is the commonest reason for rejection.
  4. Choose the examination stream you want coaching for and the empanelled institute from the drop-down list shown for that stream.
  5. Enter the marks of your last qualifying examination exactly as printed on the marksheet, then upload the marksheet, caste certificate, income certificate, domicile certificate, bank passbook, photograph and signature.
  6. Review the whole form on the preview screen and submit. Note down the application number that appears.
  7. Track the merit list on sje.rajasthan.gov.in and the application status inside SJMS. If your name appears, report to the allotted coaching institute within the reporting period stated in the list.

There is no offline application route. If you do not have a computer, an e-Mitra kiosk can fill and submit the form for you against the small government-notified e-Mitra service charge, that charge is for the kiosk's service, not a scheme fee.

How to check your application and merit list status

  1. Log in to sso.rajasthan.gov.in with your SSO ID.
  2. Open the SJMS application and select Application Status.
  3. Enter your application number to see whether the form is pending at the district level, verified, or rejected with a reason.
  4. Separately, open the merit list PDF published on sje.rajasthan.gov.in for your session and search it for your name or application number.

The department usually issues a first merit list and then one or more later lists as selected students fail to report and seats fall vacant. A student whose name is missing from the first list should therefore keep checking rather than assume the process is over.

Why applications get rejected, and how to fix it

  • Income mismatch. The income on the certificate differs from the income recorded in the Jan Aadhaar record. Get the Jan Aadhaar record corrected at an e-Mitra kiosk before applying, not after.
  • Name mismatch between Aadhaar, the marksheet and the bank passbook. The bank account must be in the applicant's own name, spelt as on Aadhaar.
  • Illegible uploads. A phone photograph of a marksheet at an angle is a frequent cause of rejection. Scan the document flat.
  • Caste certificate issued to a parent rather than to the applicant, or an expired certificate.
  • Bank account not Aadhaar-seeded, so the food and lodging DBT fails even after selection.
  • Institute not empanelled for the stream chosen. Only institutes shown in the drop-down for that stream can be selected.

What are the key dates?

Mukhyamantri Anuprati Coaching Yojana does not run on a fixed calendar date each year. The Social Justice and Empowerment Department issues the session guidelines, the empanelled institute list and the application window together, and publishes them on sje.rajasthan.gov.in. Applications are open only during that window; the portal will not accept a form after it closes. For the 2026-27 session, the window opened on 8 September 2026 and was due to close on 7 October 2026; the department extended the last date to 25 October 2026. Students apply by logging in at sso.rajasthan.gov.in and choosing the CM Anuprati Coaching icon, then the Student option. Because the window is often short, students preparing to apply should keep the domicile, caste and income certificates valid and ready in advance rather than starting the paperwork when the notification appears.

Where to complain if something goes wrong

  • Rajasthan Sampark on 181, or online at sampark.rajasthan.gov.in, for a formal written grievance against a delay or a wrong rejection.
  • Jan Soochna Portal on 1800-180-6127, to check what the state's own records show about your application and your Jan Aadhaar data.
  • District Social Justice and Empowerment Officer, for verification-stage problems, since district officers do the document verification.
  • The empanelled institute's grievance contact, if you have been selected but the institute refuses admission or asks you for money.

No official will ever ask for your SSO password or an OTP. Applying is free, and no institute or middleman can place a name on the Anuprati merit list.

Frequently asked questions

Who pays the coaching fee under Mukhyamantri Anuprati Coaching Yojana?

The Rajasthan government pays the coaching fee directly to the empanelled coaching institute, not to the student. Selected students do not have to pay the fee upfront and then claim it back. Only the food and accommodation assistance reaches the student's own bank account.

What is the income limit for Anuprati Coaching Yojana?

Annual family income from all sources must not exceed Rs 8 lakh. The figure is taken from the income certificate and, in most cases, from the income recorded against the family's Jan Aadhaar record, so both should agree.

How many students are selected each year?

The number of seats was raised from 15,000 to 30,000 students a year. Seats are divided across exam categories and reserved categories, so the cut-off differs sharply between, say, RAS coaching and constable coaching.

Which exams are covered by Anuprati Coaching Yojana?

The scheme covers UPSC Civil Services, Rajasthan Civil Services (RAS) and other RPSC examinations, subordinate service and constable recruitment, REET, and entrance tests including NEET, JEE and CLAT. The exact list is reissued with each session's guidelines.

Can a student who is not from a reserved category apply?

Yes, if the student holds an EWS certificate. Mukhyamantri Anuprati Coaching Yojana covers SC, ST, OBC, MBC, minority and EWS students. A general-category student without an EWS certificate is not eligible.

Is the Rs 40,000 paid to everyone who is selected?

No. The food and accommodation assistance of up to Rs 40,000 a year is for students who have to live away from home in the city where the empanelled institute is located. A student attending coaching in their own town is not paid this component.

How do I know whether I have been selected?

Check the merit list published on sje.rajasthan.gov.in and the application status inside the SJMS application on your SSO dashboard. The department normally releases a first merit list and then one or more subsequent lists as seats fall vacant.

Is there any fee to apply?

No. Applying through the SSO portal is free. No coaching institute or agent can charge you money for "getting your name into the Anuprati list"; selection is by merit from the department's own list.
