Rajasthan Krishak Samarthan Yojana (Wheat Bonus on MSP)
Rajasthan state government scheme
Rajasthan Krishak Samarthan Yojana pays wheat farmers a state bonus of Rs 150 per quintal on top of the central Minimum Support Price when they sell at a government purchase centre. With the 2026-27 MSP of Rs 2,585 a quintal, the farmer receives Rs 2,735. Registration is free at mspproc.rajasthan.gov.in or any e-Mitra kiosk.
What is the Rajasthan Krishak Samarthan Yojana?
Rajasthan Krishak Samarthan Yojana is the state government's wheat price support top-up. Under it, the Government of Rajasthan pays a bonus of Rs 150 per quintal to farmers who sell wheat at a government Minimum Support Price purchase centre, over and above the MSP fixed by the Government of India. The scheme is administered by the Food and Civil Supplies Department, which is the nodal department for MSP procurement in the state, and registration runs through the department's procurement portal at mspproc.rajasthan.gov.in.
The arithmetic is what farmers actually care about. For the 2026-27 wheat season, the central government fixed the MSP for wheat at Rs 2,585 per quintal. Adding the Rajasthan bonus of Rs 150 takes the amount received by a registered farmer to Rs 2,735 per quintal. On a 50-quintal sale that is Rs 7,500 of extra income purely from the state top-up.
Two things about the bonus are worth stating plainly. First, the bonus is notified season by season, not fixed permanently in law, and the figure has been revised in past seasons, always check the current notice on the procurement portal before planning a sale. Second, the bonus is only paid on wheat sold at a designated government purchase centre after registration. Wheat sold to a private trader in the open market earns whatever the market pays and no state bonus at all.
Who is eligible for the wheat bonus, and who is not eligible?
You can register and receive the bonus if:
- You are a farmer in Rajasthan with wheat to sell in the current procurement season.
- Your family holds a Jan Aadhaar card, and at least one family member's mobile number is recorded in that Jan Aadhaar record.
- Your bank account details are updated in Jan Aadhaar, because the payment will go only to that account.
- Your girdawari or land record supports the quantity of wheat you are offering.
- You register within the season's window and take an allotted weighing slot at a purchase centre.
You are not eligible, or cannot claim the bonus, if:
- You sell your wheat in the open market or to a private trader. The bonus attaches to MSP procurement at a government centre and to nothing else.
- Your family has no Jan Aadhaar record, since the portal cannot register you at all in that case.
- You are offering wheat that does not meet Fair Average Quality (FAQ) standards. Purchase centres reject consignments below the prescribed moisture and foreign-matter limits, and a rejected lot earns neither MSP nor bonus.
- You are a trader buying wheat to resell at a purchase centre. Procurement is meant for the producing farmer, and land records are checked precisely to screen this out.
- You arrive after the closing date of the season's procurement window.
What documents are required?
| Document | Mandatory | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Jan Aadhaar card | Yes | Registration is validated against the family record |
| Bank account seeded in Jan Aadhaar | Yes | The only account payment will reach |
| Girdawari / land record | Yes | Establishes sown area and expected quantity |
| Mobile number in Jan Aadhaar | Yes | Carries slot, weighing and payment SMS |
| Original ownership papers or lease | If applicable | Needed at the centre when the seller is not the recorded owner |
The portal's own instruction is direct on this point: farmers must carry original documents to the purchase centre where the person selling is not the land owner.
How to apply for Krishak Samarthan Yojana online
- Open the official procurement portal at mspproc.rajasthan.gov.in during the season's registration window: 1 February 2026 to 25 May 2026 for the 2026-27 wheat season.
- Choose the farmer registration for wheat sale option and enter your Jan Aadhaar number. The portal pulls your family details from the Jan Aadhaar record.
- Verify the OTP sent to the mobile number registered in Jan Aadhaar.
- Enter your land and crop details: tehsil, village, khasra number, sown area and the quantity of wheat you intend to sell.
- Select the purchase centre where you want to sell.
- Confirm that the bank account shown from your Jan Aadhaar record is the one you want the payment in. If it is wrong, stop and get the Jan Aadhaar record corrected first.
- Submit the form and save the registration number. Slot allotment follows on a first-come, first-served basis and the weighing date reaches you by SMS and on the portal.
How to register offline
- Visit your nearest e-Mitra kiosk with your Jan Aadhaar card, girdawari and bank passbook.
- Ask the operator to file a wheat sale registration on mspproc.rajasthan.gov.in on your behalf, and check the quantity, centre and bank account on screen before submission.
- Give the OTP received on the mobile number in your Jan Aadhaar record.
- Collect the printed acknowledgement carrying the registration number.
A limited spot registration facility also exists at purchase centres for farmers who never registered. It is capped at 10% of the number of farmers registered for that day and is available only from 6 PM onwards, so it is a fallback and not a plan.
How the slot and weighing system works
Purchase centres issue tokens on a first-in, first-out basis, and the allotted date is communicated by SMS and on the portal. On the allotted day the farmer brings the wheat to the centre, the lot is checked for quality, weighed, and a receipt is issued.
A farmer who cannot make the allotted date is not shut out. The portal allows a sale in the same or the following week, provided it happens before 25 May 2026, but the weighing for such late arrivals is done only after 3 PM, after the farmers who came on their own dates have been served.
How to check your registration and payment status
- Return to mspproc.rajasthan.gov.in and use the registration or slot status option.
- Enter your Jan Aadhaar number or registration number and complete the OTP.
- The screen shows the allotted purchase centre, the weighing date, the quantity accepted and the payment status.
- For payment specifically, cross-check the credit in the bank account seeded in your Jan Aadhaar, since that is the only account the department pays to.
Why payments fail or registrations get rejected
- Bank account in Jan Aadhaar is closed, wrong or not seeded. This is the most common failure, and the fix is to correct the Jan Aadhaar record, not to give a new account number at the purchase centre.
- Mobile number in Jan Aadhaar belongs to someone else or is inactive, so the OTP never arrives and registration cannot be completed.
- Girdawari does not support the declared quantity, which caps how much the centre will accept.
- Wheat fails the quality check on moisture or foreign matter at the centre.
- Seller is not the recorded owner and cannot produce the original ownership papers or lease agreement.
- Registration filed after the closing date of the season.
