MP e-Uparjan Portal Scheme
Madhya Pradesh state government scheme
MP e-Uparjan is the Madhya Pradesh Food and Civil Supplies Department portal through which farmers register free to sell wheat, paddy and other crops at the Minimum Support Price. Wheat for Rabi 2026-27 is procured at Rs 2,600 per quintal, and payment reaches the farmer's Aadhaar-linked bank account within seven working days.
What is the MP e-Uparjan portal scheme?
MP e-Uparjan is the online crop procurement system of the Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh. Farmers who want to sell their produce at the Minimum Support Price to a state procurement agency must first register on the portal at mpeuparjan.nic.in; the same system then handles slot booking, purchase at the centre, transport, warehousing and payment.
According to the e-Uparjan portal, procurement centres buy grain from farmers and payment is deposited into the farmer's Aadhaar-linked bank account within seven working days. The portal describes the system as removing intermediaries and saving farmers time, because a farmer can register from home on a phone or computer instead of standing in a queue.
The scale is large. The portal reports that over the past five years roughly 1.186 crore farmer registrations were made, about 64.4 lakh farmers actually supplied grain, and procurement worth approximately Rs 69,111 crore was handled through the system.
Crops covered
Wheat, paddy, sorghum (jowar), pearl millet (bajra), gram (chana), lentil (masur) and mustard, monitored across all districts of Madhya Pradesh.
The six stages of e-Uparjan
- Online farmer registration.
- Slot booking by the farmer.
- Purchase of grain at the procurement centre.
- Transport of the purchased grain.
- Storage in a warehouse.
- Direct payment into the farmer's bank account.
What price does a farmer get under e-Uparjan?
For Rabi Marketing Season 2026-27, wheat is procured in Madhya Pradesh at Rs 2,600 per quintal. That figure is made up of the central Minimum Support Price of Rs 2,585 per quintal and a Rs 15 per quintal bonus paid by the Madhya Pradesh government.
Other crops are procured at the support price notified for that crop and season by the Government of India, with any state top-up announced in the state's procurement policy for the year. Because these rates change every season, the rate published on mpeuparjan.nic.in for the current season is the only figure a farmer should plan against.
Payment is made by Direct Benefit Transfer into the Aadhaar-linked bank account, and the portal's stated timeline is seven working days from the purchase.
Who is eligible to register on MP e-Uparjan?
You can register if:
- You are a farmer in Madhya Pradesh with land records in your own name in the state revenue database.
- The crop you intend to sell is a notified crop for that season and is recorded in the girdawari (crop survey) for your khasra.
- You hold an Aadhaar number and an Aadhaar-linked bank account.
- You have a working mobile number for OTP and slot alerts.
You cannot register, or are not eligible, if:
- You have no land record in your own name in Madhya Pradesh. Registration is anchored to the revenue record, so a cultivator without one generally cannot register on their own account unless the department has notified a specific route for that season.
- Your girdawari does not show the crop you want to sell, or shows a materially smaller sown area.
- Your bank account is not Aadhaar-seeded, which makes DBT impossible even after a successful sale.
- You are trying to register after the season's registration window has closed, for Rabi 2026-27 wheat, registration ran from 7 February to 10 March 2026.
- You want to sell a crop outside the notified list, which must be sold in the open mandi rather than through e-Uparjan.

- Select farmer registration and enter your mobile number, then verify the OTP sent to it.
- Enter your Aadhaar number and complete Aadhaar verification.
- Enter your district, tehsil, village and khasra number so the portal can fetch your land record and the sown crop from the revenue database.
- Check the crop, sown area and expected quantity shown, and correct them with the revenue office if they are wrong.
- Enter your Aadhaar-linked bank account details for payment.
- Submit the registration and save the registration number and printed receipt.
- After approval, return to the portal to book a slot. A date and a procurement centre for delivering your crop.
The same registration can be completed on the MP Kisan mobile app, which carries the identical registration and slot booking flow.
How to register for e-Uparjan offline
- Visit an authorised registration centre — these include primary agricultural cooperative societies, gram panchayat centres, MPOnline kiosks and Common Service Centres notified for the season.
- Carry your Aadhaar card, bank passbook, land record and mobile phone.
- Have the operator file the registration and verify the OTP on your own mobile number.
- Collect the printed registration receipt carrying your registration number.
- Book your slot at the same centre or later on the portal.
How to book a procurement slot
Slot booking is the step farmers most often miss. After registration is approved, log in to mpeuparjan.nic.in or the MP Kisan app, open the slot booking option, and choose the procurement centre and the date on which you will bring the crop. The system limits how many farmers a centre handles in a day, so booking early gives a wider choice of dates. Arriving at a centre without a booked slot usually means being turned away and rescheduling.
Bring the registration receipt and the slot confirmation to the centre along with the crop. At the centre the grain is checked against Fair Average Quality norms; moisture, foreign matter, shrivelled and broken grain, before it is weighed and accepted.
How to check e-Uparjan purchase and payment status
- Open mpeuparjan.nic.in and choose the payment or purchase status option for the current season.
- Enter your registration number or registered mobile number.
- View the quantity purchased, the rate applied and the amount payable.
- Check whether the amount has been released to your bank account; the portal's stated timeline is seven working days from purchase.
If seven working days have passed and the status shows the payment as released but the money has not reached you, the problem is almost always at the bank end, an inactive account, a frozen account, or Aadhaar seeding that has lapsed.
Why e-Uparjan registrations and payments fail
- Land record and girdawari mismatch, the crop or sown area recorded by the patwari does not match what the farmer wants to sell. This must be corrected at the tehsil, not on the portal.
- Bank account not Aadhaar-seeded, so DBT bounces back.
- Name mismatch between Aadhaar, the land record and the bank account.
- Registration filed after the window closed for that season.
- Slot not booked, or the crop brought on a different date from the slot.
- Quality rejection at the centre where the grain fails Fair Average Quality norms, particularly on moisture after unseasonal rain.
- More quantity offered than the registered sown area supports, which the system flags.
Key dates
Registration windows are notified separately for each season. For Rabi Marketing Season 2026-27, wheat registration on e-Uparjan ran from 7 February 2026 to 10 March 2026. Kharif registration for paddy and coarse grains runs on its own schedule, generally announced ahead of the harvest. The department publishes each window on mpeuparjan.nic.in, and a farmer who misses the window cannot sell at MSP through the system in that season.
Help and grievance redressal
Grievances about e-Uparjan are handled through the district food and civil supplies office and the tehsil-level procurement officer for the centre concerned. Land record and girdawari corrections go to the patwari and tehsil office, because e-Uparjan only reads what the revenue database holds. Registration and slot booking problems are supported at the authorised registration centre where the form was filed, and the current season's helpdesk contacts are published on mpeuparjan.nic.in.
Registration on e-Uparjan is free. No agent can guarantee a procurement slot or a faster payment for a fee.

The e-Uparjan portal states that payment is deposited into the farmer's Aadhaar-linked bank account within seven working days of the purchase at the procurement centre.
What is slot booking on e-Uparjan?

Which crops are covered by MP e-Uparjan?
MP e-Uparjan covers wheat, paddy, sorghum (jowar), pearl millet (bajra), gram, lentil (masur) and mustard, procured across all districts of Madhya Pradesh at the applicable support price.

Registration is built around land records held in the farmer's own name, so a cultivator with no land record in their name generally cannot register on their own account. Where the department notifies a route for sharecroppers in a particular season, it is announced with that season's procurement policy — check the current notification before assuming eligibility.
How do I check my e-Uparjan payment status?
Use the payment or purchase status option on mpeuparjan.nic.in with your registration number or mobile number. The screen shows the quantity purchased, the rate applied and whether the amount has been released to your bank account.
